Not only was our business in crisis, but also many individuals in our community were hammered by layoffs and other uncertainties. With Table & Main temporarily closed and most of our staff still able to work, we knew we had the resources to help by doing what we do best: nurturing the community with food and hospitality. We established a process and a team to convert T&M into essentially a soup kitchen donating prepared lunches 6 days/week at no charge, no questions asked. Team members from all three restaurants, including Osteria Mattone and Coalition Food and Beverage, contributed to serving over 9,723 meals from late March to early May. We averaged 152 meals a day. ELAINE STERLING WASN’T SURE WHEN OR HOW HER SPA ESTHÉTIQUE (OPENED IN JANUARY OF 2019) WOULD SURVIVE WHEN THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC HIT. Like many other small businesses in Sandy Springs, she made the right decision for her staff and customers and closed the doors. Facing uncertain times, Elaine did her best for those working for her and helped them file for unemployment. She offered incentives to her clients that if they purchased gift cards during the shutdown, 100% of the proceeds would support her out-of-work estheticians. Through it all, Esthétique managed to come out on the other side when the restrictions were lifted in early May. Elaine knew that re-opening wouldn’t be easy, especially re-opening the safe

Start with several mini pumpkins. (We prefer to use fake ones so you don’t have to worry about leaving them out too long!) You’ll also need some white paint, metallic paint and black paint. Twine is optional to add a slightly rustic vibe to the stems.

Paint all of the stems with black paint and wrap some with twine if desired. Then, create several different looks with combinations of metallic and flat paint. Make extra creepy “oozing” pumpkins by allowing paint to run down the sides.
